The Churches in the Benefice of Woodhill (Broad Town, Clyffe Pypard, Hilmarton and Tockenham) and the Churches in the Benefice of Lyneham with Bradenstoke take their responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously.
We work in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.
These parishes share a single priest in charge and a parish safeguarding officer.
Our Parish Safeguarding Policy can be downloaded here https://www.churchofengland.org/sites/default/files/2019-03/Parish%20Safeguarding%20Handbook%20March%202019.pdf
A copy of the booklet is displayed in all the churches alongside a poster with the details of the Parish Safeguarding Officer. Please let us know if you find that one is missing.
If you have any Safeguarding questions or concerns you can contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer, Patsy Golding on 01249 891944 email pfagolding@aol.com
Alternatively you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, on 07500 664800 or email heather.bland@salisbury.anglican.org

“It’s the place our daughter was christened and we love to come at Christmas and other special days”

“Hilmarton Church is a fine example of an English country church. For centuries it has been the spiritual heart of the village during the best of times and the worst of times. In this role it has played an important part in the history of our family”
Ron and Molly
