Temporary Closure of: A3102 (Part), Calne and Hilmarton (Ref: TTRO 6310) 

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: 

A3102 (Part), Calne and Hilmarton; from its junction with Oxford Road to its junction with Beacon Hill. 

To enable: Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing. 

Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length) – B4005 – A4361 – A4 and vice versa. 

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. 

This Order will come into operation on 17 December 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours 09:00 and 15:00 until 20 December 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
