Temporary Closure of: A3102 (Part), Hilmarton, Lyneham and Bradenstoke and Calne (Ref: TTRO 6045)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Phase One:
A3102 (Part) Hilmarton / Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Slessor Road to its junction with Goatacre Lane;
Phase Two:
A3102 Greenacres Way (Part) Calne; from its junction with A4 Chilvester Hill to its junction with School Road.
To enable: Eurovia to carry out carriageway patching, reconstruction, surface dressing, road markings and associated works.
Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length) – B4005 – A4361 – A4 – A3102 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order which previously came into operation on 11 February 2019 will now recommence on 09 July 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 10 July 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
